Privacy policy

Last reviewed: July 24, 2026

TCG Pax is a static informational site. We collect as little as possible — data minimization is the default, not an add-on. This page explains in plain English what little we do handle.

No accounts, no profiles

There is nothing to sign in to. We do not create user accounts, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

No ad trackers by default

The site ships with no advertising trackers and no marketing pixels. Pages are served as static files. Our hosting provider may keep standard, short-lived server logs (such as IP addresses in access logs) to run and secure the service, as virtually all web hosts do.

Forms: only what you type

The contact form, the correction form, and the newsletter signup send only the fields you fill in — nothing else is attached — to our form-processing endpoint so we can read and answer your message. We use your email address only to reply or, for the newsletter, to send the emails you asked for. Every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link. We do not sell or rent this information.

Optional click logging

We may enable privacy-friendly logging of outbound affiliate-link clicks to understand which pages are useful. When enabled, it is aggregate counting only — no profiles, no cross-site tracking. It is disabled by default.

When you leave for TCGplayer

Affiliate links take you to the TCGplayer marketplace, a third-party site. From the moment you click through, TCGplayer’s own privacy policy applies, not ours. See our affiliate disclosure for how those links work.

Your rights

Wherever you live — and specifically under GDPR if you are in the EU/EEA or UK — you can ask us what we hold about you (usually: at most a form submission or a newsletter address), ask for a copy, correct it, or have it deleted. Email hello@tcgpax.com and we will handle it. There is no dark-pattern retention: if you ask us to delete a message or unsubscribe an address, we do.

Changes to this policy

If our data practices change — for example, if we enable click logging — we will update this page and its “last reviewed” date.

This page is provided for transparency and general information. It is not legal advice.
