Which links are affiliate links
TCG Pax participates in the TCGplayer affiliate program. Links that point to TCGplayer product or search pages are affiliate links. We do not currently use any other affiliate program. Regular internal links, and links to official publisher sites in our sources, are not affiliate links.
How we label them
Affiliate links on this site carry a visible “Affiliate link” tag near the button or link, and use rel="sponsored" in the page markup so search engines can identify them too. If a link takes you to TCGplayer, you should assume it is an affiliate link even if a label failed to render.
How commissions work
If you click an affiliate link and buy something on TCGplayer, TCGplayer may pay us a small percentage of the sale. This comes out of TCGplayer’s side, not yours: you pay the same price whether you arrive through our link or go to TCGplayer directly.
Purchases happen on TCGplayer, not here
TCG Pax is not a store. There is no cart, checkout, or payment on this site. Every purchase happens on the third-party TCGplayer marketplace under TCGplayer’s own terms, prices, and policies. Marketplace prices and availability change constantly, so we never assert live prices — we link to live listings and let you see the current price there.
Editorial independence
Commissions never change our verdicts. Our recommendations are based on pack contents, set data, statistics, availability, and editorial analysis. When buying a single card is the smarter move, we say so — even though a cheap single earns us less than a sealed box would. If you only want this specific card, buying the single card may be more predictable than opening sealed packs.
TCG Pax is an independent site and is not owned by, operated by, or officially endorsed by TCGplayer, Pokémon, Bandai, Wizards of the Coast, Konami, Disney, Ravensburger, Lucasfilm, Riot Games, or any TCG publisher.
Sponsored placements
TCG Pax does not currently run sponsored placements, and they are off by default. If we ever accept one in the future, it will be clearly labeled as sponsored, kept separate from editorial verdicts, and will never include guaranteed-pull or inflated-odds claims.
